Kerala Angel Network (KAN) backs high-potential early-stage startups led by visionary founders building scalable businesses. Our investment process is founder-friendly yet rigorous, driven by seasoned investors who don't just fund — they mentor, guide and open doors. With a sharp focus on long-term value creation, KAN brings more than capital to the table — we offer strategic support, deep networks and hands-on involvement to help startups grow faster and smarter.
KAN will be sector agnostic, but size specific.
KAN will invest into start-ups in the growth stage looking to scale-up before their series-A funding.
KAN's investment ticket size will be in the range: Rs.50 lakhs to Rs.3.5 crores.

To apply to KAN, you can submit your startup application through this website. You will see an 'Apply for Funding' tab at the top of this website.
KAN usually invests from 50 L To 3.5 Cr . Numbers can go up based on the interest level of the members . If the ask is beyond our reach ,KAN will associate with other investor groups.
After submission, our investment committee reviews your application. Selected startups are invited for a pitch presentation, followed by due diligence and final investment decision
KAN appears as a single entry on the CAP table, utilizing the SPV services of a SEBI-registered fund to facilitate this process.
The company shall pay KAN an amount equal to 3% (three percent only) of KAN's total investment amount, plus applicable taxes, for facilitating the investment. Cost of stamp duty on share subscription and shareholders agreement(s) / Investment agreement / due diligence, as applicable, and share certificates issued to investors will be borne by the company.
Depending on the complexity, from start to finish, it can take anywhere from 1 to 2 months to secure funding.
